There's been rumors floating about HPET(High Presicion Event Timer) and how disabling it from the BIOS should bring significant relief to stuttering on games and alike. However, when I tried experimenting with it, I could conclude that nothing took effect. Has anyone else done something corresponding? I've stuttering with Witcher 3 and I've heard how some have fixed most of it via that method, and at the same time some stuttering in desktop have vanished. Stuttering I also wittness occassionally - don't have a clue what is going on with that.
