I've watched a few of his solo vids and, honestly, I couldn't stand his humor, play-style, or editing. I just found him too annoying and stopped watching his videos.

But I'm also subscribed to a ton of other LPers who have done collabs with him, and wouldn't you know, I enjoyed them. I find that he is a lot better when diluted with other personalities.

While I'm part of the mass that finds him mostly annoying, it's also sad for me to see so many people hating on him. He's just a guy who makes videos for a living.

To quote another famous YouTube, "LEAVE PEWDIE ALONE!!!" *hysterical sobs*

Well, let's just focus any hate towards something that deserves it....

Like Bieber.

Then take your own advice and don't watch.
His 'bros' have relentlessly vandalized the Amnesia wiki, speaking as one who edited it.
And it's a bad marketing strategy to target people who legally aren't old enough to buy the game in the first place. I was ticked as anyone else when I found out he got the first copy of AMfP.

AGP wasn't saying that she watches his videos continuously, and continuously finds them annoying. She was saying that from what she saw of him she thought he was annoying, and it's likely there that she decided to stop following him.

I'm not sure if you're saying this as implying it as a reason to dislike Pewdie. Just in case you are, and I apologize if you aren't, Pewdiepie cannot stand accounted for what his fans do. Also it's not as if he endorses the actions his fans take. He has repeatedly told fans to not bother other people in this fashion as well.

There is no way that Pewdiepie's intended target audience are young children. If they were he wouldn't be using so much profanity so often. I personally believe it was much more likely he intended to share these videos with fellow gamers that enjoy watching his reactions.

To be fair, when you're that age you shouldn't be playing those games, because they are not appropriate for your age. An exception is if a parent, or guardian with proper judgement deems from observation over time that your mentality is well-developed enough that you can withstand the very mature content these game have, and allow to go right ahead.

amnesia only has jumpscares and puzzles

RE: PewDiePie arguing - AGP - 07-23-2014

In regards to the Bieber comment, it was meant sarcastically. I'm sorry it did not properly come across as such. That was my fault.

But any children watching Pewd's channel cannot be blamed on his target audience strategy. That just comes down to parents not caring what their kids are up to. Noting to do with Pewdiepie.

And really, Amnesia is more than "puzzles and jump-scares". It's about presenting a unique take on survival horror, and providing a terrifying experience unlike previous entries into the genre, through design, story, and execution.

And also, if you somehow haven't noticed (which you must have seeing how you're suddenly all over this forum), Amnesia also provides something that other horror games haven't provided, and that's the tools to create and share your own fears or even just stories with others.

Little kids are very annoying, they think they are badass and swear at others.

Parents are responsible for the kid's actions.

I also covered this somewhat in my first post in the thread in case anyone's interested, and hasn't read it yet: https://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-25727-post-300298.html#pid300298
