RE: The "What are you listening now?" -thread - Bridge - 04-14-2013 Yeah, double reeds are badass. Too bad they are so expensive. RE: The "What are you listening now?" -thread - Kman - 04-14-2013 Thread needs moar glitch I mean it is the best electronic subgenre afterall RE: The "What are you listening now?" -thread - Nice - 04-14-2013 my favourite ATDD ambient soundtrack which im listening to right now as i type RE: The "What are you listening now?" -thread - Adny - 04-15-2013 This guy is so boss. His falsetto singing gets bit pitchy @ 2:40 ish, aside from that its 10/10 RE: The "What are you listening now?" -thread - MyRedNeptune - 04-15-2013 (04-14-2013, 11:12 PM)Bridge Wrote: Yeah, double reeds are badass. Just goes to show how awesome these things are. Btw, that song you posted was one of my favorites for a long time, thanks for reminding me of its existence. Just goes to show how awesome these things are. I also found that tidbit in the commentary to be really interesting. The effects are so thick it almost doesn't sound like a bassoon. Still, having a leitmotif for the water monsters in the background music is IMO a brilliant idea. They are completely voiceless in-game and yet you sympathize with them ever so slightly because they feel like they could be actual animals (unlike the grunts/brutes). The fifth gnossienne will always be my favorite though. It's so subtle it hurts.
