Not only that the Steam keys are available (https://shelf.frictionalgames.com/index.php) and can be already activated, it seems that the game can be launched after finishing the download.

Ouch I don't even see the option to download in steam, I guess it is because I bought it from Steam itself.

Try closing steam, remove ClientRegistry.blob, then restart Steam, and see if you an "Amnesia: The Dark Descent" has arrived on your Steam list.
If not, well, you should have bought from Frictional's store

Just click "Add Game..." and use your steam key there.... seems to be working for me right now actually.
