One Life for another - Sacrifice yourself to kill Alexander and save

My purgatory - Gain your revenge.
You will be celebrated for centuries - Sacrifice yourself.
In another world - Help Agrippa

seems like better achievement titles imo, but meh idk.

Careful collector - Collect all the diary notes.
The worst is yet to come - Repair the Elevator
Nutjob - Pass out from your insanity.
Hydrophobia - Escape from the water lurker.
Psychopath - Interact with all the torture devices.

Ignorance is Bliss - Don't interact with any of the torture devices.

Shev's Game - Play the game with no commentaries, no cursors, no menu and no sense of humor.

Fixed.

A papercut should be their weakness, right? - Throw a scroll or any other paper object at a monster, except for books.
Is someone pumping up their tire? - Make ten roaches hiss at you within five seconds.

Hope they're a bit better. Big Grin

Seriously though, even if this is a joke thread, achievements would totally ruin amnesia.

Could you imagine walking through a scary ass corridor, and then all the sudden a little window pops up in the corner of your screen with a silly name, and broke all immersion just to remind you you're playing a video game? It might be funny for people who played the game 50 times, but it'd ruin the experience for anyone who hasn't played it yet.

Achievements now adays are just a huge ass gimmick with a fancy name. Really 99% of the time they're just for playing the game rather than achieving them (like literally most games just give you achievements for beating a level, which is the most pointless achievement better), slap a witty name on it and apparently its the best thing since sliced bread.

As I said before, the achievements could be implimented like in heavy rain, where the trophies pop up while your in a loading screen.

Maybe don't even have them 'pop up' at all. Maybe just view them somewhere in the main menu.
In any game I find them popping up pretty annoying, let alone amnesia, where it's more likely to give me a heart attack from the unexpected sound in a tense situation.

Yea that's why it's a joke thread, piss off if you're gonna be a little turd and ruin it for everyone else, have a sense of humor, this isn't serious, it isn't meant for anything but laughs

Oh and thanks for stating the obvious about how it ruins immersion when numerous people have already pointed this out
