That was the most memorable intro to a custom story I've ever seen. The timing for the scripting was spot-on - I am in awe. The castle is... it's bloody beautiful. The level design, particle effects, all of it is a hit in my books.

Cos I am no scripting god nor did I actually have any good ideas for that room. The script got stupid in the end anyways and I bet no one "fails" in that room...

Epic demo and gameplay so original with that intro and movements, effects and that heavy metal song was just one Epicness!

The beginning was a bit slow. Did the stones / rocks move at all or is it just the effects that make them look like they are moving?
Also the part where you got chased was awesome, I really wanted to look behind me which I always do in other maps, but here I just couldn't stop, felt like they were so close.

It wasn't a fun map but damn impressive and..epic.

Very nice work!

Nope the rocks didn't move... I ran out of ideas for the intro and editing it afterwards is also pain in the ass, so I just used FovMul(zoomin/out) and player roll.
Btw the brutes really do get pretty close, I didn't want to keep the frictional games style of easy chases...

What the hell! I forgot my testing lantern in the script :S Gotta update the download link...
