I'm stuck in the Sewers of Oblivion- I tried to use each of the three unknown chemicals on the mixing pot, on the nearby test tubes, and on each other, and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

No... They all go to the pot in the center of the pedestal. Question, like others have said, do you have Justine installed? Probably doesn't make a difference, but it MAY... =\ I don't know his script. You could also just be doing something wrong.
