Demo crashes upon starting *PARTLY SOLVED*

I Know what is causing the game to crash. Its the menus

I installed the latest drivers 3 times also used driver cleaner to make sure its completely gone but still didnt fix. All graphics low, everything disabled still didnt work. Also downloaded a non steam version of the demo as well with same issue. anyway not important

what i did was. open main_settings.cfg file and changed

<Main ShowMenu="true"
to
<Main ShowMenu="false"

Now it doesnt have the full intro at the start with gamma selection and profile name. It goes straight to the game.
Heres the catch... As soon as i hit "ESC" key it crashes exactly like before
so the game is still not playable

Devs, help please need your expertise! Really hanging to play

PS: Dxdiag.txt is attached just in case
EDIT: Also, pressing the M ley in game is no problem. Its only the escape key menu (assuming there is one)
