Solved: 8 Years, 2 Months, 1 Week ago Holding on to an object

I can't seem to hold onto an object and move with it i.e. the rock you pick up at the start. I am using a Macbook. I can pick it up but it drops continuously. What is the trick or should I say what am I doing wrong?:cry:
