Update on the X-series bug?

I have an X series card, but no problems with the menus or load screen (at least not the last time I tried). I just have a weird issue where it seems like some texture is following me around or something. I get stone covering up carpet when I get close, for example.

Right now I'm only running the demo, because I want to make sure the game will work before I buy it.

What drivers do u use and exactly what card you have ???
