Odd problem, 2 Graphics Cards, Black Screen White Dot

Hello,
I recently downloaded Amnesia from Steam on my new laptop. I currently have two graphics drivers, one an integrated Intel HD graphics card, and another a Radeon ™ 6490M graphics card. I updated both using device manager and windows update, I'm not sure if that was a good idea or not, but oh well.
When it launches, it detects my integrated Intel graphics card instead, which I assume could be a problem. I could still run the game however, and everything looks splendid. Until I start the game. Dialogue and subtitles works great untill I notice that the only thing I see is a black screen and a white dot, listening at a damn waterfall?
I've tried to go to control panel and disabling my hd intel graphics, but then Amnesia looks at me funny and tells me I'm using a generic graphics card and assumes everything is set to medium.
I didn't want to waste everyone's time, so I spent a good 9 hours on this yesterday. Still no dice though, help please?

Oh, and when I disable the card, and launch it like a big boy, it crashes, unresponsively to windows.
