Amnesia.exe has stopped working

[Drumdude41]

I downloaded Amnesia from steam and when i click play the launcher will pop up, but when i try to run the game it immediately says "Amnesia.exe has stopped working" I've looked into my hpl log but this is the only one i can find. Any help would be appreciated on what i can do. I have an Nvidia 9600GSO with all updated drivers which i hope is compatible because i really want to play
