So.. little update: I've stopped using the 'build everything, then start scripting'-approach, as you often have to rework what you've built so far to make the script work and such.

I've divided the map into little parts which their own puzzles and scripts, and now I'm done with building the first part of Part 3! Scripting will start soon, I have some good ideas for puzzles, but scares in a mansion environment are new for me..
