Alexander does not really provide his secret family tree what he has probably not even made. It would be rather easy in 19th century to pretend to be owner of the place as baron was rather absent in their society besides doing his Baron duties.

Then again who knows, one of the loading screen texts tells that Baron actually did travel elsewhere too. Not to mention one of the notes he has wrote about attending to Order of The Black Eagle meeting.
