I registered just to show my appreciation for this CS Man this was really well done! I really like the script work you've put into this, all the special effects. And the nightmare setting also gives you a lot of license to make bizarre areas and events without them having to make sense.

Are all those dead people the selfsame repeatedly dying Martin?

Yes, they are all remainders from Martin's (your) earlier nightmares. With each one of them forming the "world" towards what it looked like this particular night, even though he sometimes barely could remember it.
