I just wanted something that didn't get outdated, and I thought, that'd be the best to do... Smile

I'm not completely pleased with the new layout of windows, but I'll get used to it Wink

On a quick sidenote, this is my 2000 post. Thank you guys, for being awesome...

@BeeKayK: Very nice choices. I'm not sure about the keyboard but if you think it's good then why not. Also, you could have gotten the latest Haswell cpu & 1150 motherboard if the price was not higher in order to be more updated as you said but to be honest it wouldn't really make any difference. Just keep in mind that there are some things that you normally buy once and keep for many years. These are monitor, case and soundcard. So, when it comes to them, pay extra attention on what you buy. You will keep it for the years to come so make sure you like it first! Smile

@Tiger: I think you should spend a little less at the motherboard and get the UD3H Wifi instead of the UD5H Wifi (click for comparison). Basically the UD5H has 2 LAN ports and better onboard audio. Everything else is the same. If you don't need Wifi then see the bare UD3H and UD5H which cost less because of that. That way, you can get a better graphics card like a 660Ti for example. Btw, so many fans may not be needed. Will you keep the stock intel cooler?

I was totally unsure about the keyboard too. But all I needed was a keyboard. I didn't know which kind and what type. All I knew was that it must include a USB-cable. It would suck so much if i suddenly ran out of batteries.
And as you said, I'm probably gonna keep this for a while. I don't want to run around with a Modern Warfare 3 keyboard with the keys ASDW colored.

By the way, in comparison, this is pretty funny to me:

RE: New computer.

The battery powered keyboard and mouse I have has been running off the same AA batteries for over a year and a half for me. So yeah, it wouldn't be a problem.
