Running:
i7 3930K OCed 4.4ghz (12 threads)
16gigs OCed1688mhz GSkill (Dual Channel)
Win 7 Ultimate 64bit
SLI'd GTX550Ti (x2) 2gig dedicated ea.
Asus P9X79 Gaming Mobo
OCZ SSDs
All neatly packaged in the awesome
Thermaltake GT Level 10 Snow Edition

and this game is still running like shit; sli on or off.... all these issues and obvious lack of support from the devs have left me completely turned off to ever installing a Frictional game on my glorious system.

MAX SETTINGS
Crysis - 60+ FPS
Arkham City - 60+ FPS
Resident Evil 5 - 60+ FPS
Amnesia - 3 FPS (WTF is this game doing, decrypting Russian launch codes????)

Don't bother responding Devs, wouldn't care to hear it anyway....

It is not the graphics card. Most probably you have very old drivers or corrupted installation. From where did you get the game?

SSAO maxed out isn't needed. SSAO at 4 samples is good enough. Hell, I don't (and can't at the moment :[) play with SSAO even on at all. It doesn't really matter as a setting to be maxed out, I don't think there is a different between maxing SSAO out and having it at 4 samples.

I've come to learn to not fear the living, nor the dead... But the monsters that hide in closets.
