I'm not asking for the $2 back I just wanted to know why as it seemed at little odd for them to offer 20% off on Steam and only 10% off from their store.

Now what would annoy me is if Steam pre-orders were able to pre-load and Frictional Games store pre-orders had to wait until release for keys.

Oh man, how ridiculous! There is the possibility to get the game even more cheaper, and people are starting to complain.
If I would have to choose now, I would be happy to give the developers 2$ more instead of giving a share of the $16 to Steam, leaving the people who did the real work even less (maybe only 13-14$?).

Looking at other threads, too, I think it's time the game gets released finally. People are getting bored here. Tongue

The game is really cheap as it is, so complaining when someone gets it for $2 cheaper is a bit silly

Seriously? Are people crying over for just few bucks?

This game was on Frictional Games' store for like 7,50€ before there was even any demo or anything else.
If Steam can offer as high quality games as this one is, for that low price before releasing, please, let me know.
And if you pre-ordered the game for 7,50€ , you would have got an activation key for Steam.

Does Steam let you get DRM free game for the same price?

I'm pretty sure you won't get DRM-free copies for Windows, Linux AND OSX of the game if you go directly to Steam.

I don't think people are sooking - I guess people just feel like if they bought the game (thus supporting an unproven game) earlier than people that jump on the wagon, the wagon people should be paying more, as it's closer to release and more proven.

It's a small complaint but interesting regardless
