Sewer Valve missing

I wonder if anyone can help me? I got to the part in the sewer Cisterns, however past the Steam vents, the redirect there is missing a valve. I saw in a Youtube video, the valve is suppose to be there, but in my game its completely missing along with the plate it should be attached to, and so im stuck.

any help?

Any chance you can post a screenshot?

If you have the Steam Edition, then right-click on the game listing in Steam and Verify your Game Cache.

If you have the Steam Edition, then right-click on the game listing in Steam and Verify your Game Cache.

I have the version from GamersGate, and i can post a screenshot, im not sure what good it will do but, first how do you take screenshots? I tried Print Screen but it didnt seem to do anything.

Taking screenshots only works in windowed mode.

Thanks, Got the screenshot taken, hopefully someone knows whats going on. To be clear, this is ONLY the valve near the Steam pipes. The other Valves show up properly and work fine.

No one has any idea what I can do? Or suggestions on how to go about finding resolution? I cant complete the game like this.

Yes, Youtube. I know its shocking people have complete video walkthrus for the game on it, and perhaps even more shocking people look at them.

I did say earlier, I found the 2 other valves in the Cistern, but its this last one that is missing.

I honestly dont care about being spoiled so if you know some secret about this missing valve please tell me, or i'll end up just having to bug this with Friction.
