This story was really really good, I can see the hours of effort that have gone into it and it really shines. My main criticism was that the lighting was awfully dark and no ambient lights were used most of/all of the time. I'm not sure if that is what you were doing on purpose, but if you put in some very dark ambient lights, it would greatly improve the story.

I loved so many things in this story, my favourite bit was when

you see the blood smear on the floor and you go round the corner and there are skulls and rocks and wind blows some skulls off, that was some creepy sh*t.

It did feel like a custom story, and didn't have a very proffesional feel to it, although it is very well polished and I had no experiences with overlapping textures.

Ultimately, I thought it was really fun and the voice acting/flashbacks was nice to see/hear in a custom story.

I look forward to playing any new content that you create!! Big Grin

Thanks alot for your feedback Smile.

I just have one question. Do you mean that the player will be able to navigate better in the dark with dim lights? Because personally I think its better to let it be pitch black so the player "turns on night vision". Could you go a little bit deeper into what you mean about the lights?

I will unfortunately, probably, not do another story...At least not alone, if someone takes the initiative of setting up a team for a bigger project I would be happy to join Smile.

Yes, I do think the player will find it better to navigate. I just felt that it was pitch black for so much of it that it got quite annoying having to keep readjusting to the light. But, I don't really mind, it works in your favour as well and certainly added to the fear that you created Smile

Hey there Vradcly.

This is the second custom story i have played and not yet finished your story,
but i already like what i am seeing. The map is really big and looks very nice.
You get a great scary feeling when you rush trough that building.
It is so dark... very nice xD

The Scary moments and sounds are great. I got scared as hell many times!
I loved the skullz behind the corner :-)

When you go downstairs to the 'cellar' door, you have 2 cupboards...
- one of them is filled with body parts
- you should add some scary sound when you open that one...

Did you really added some kind of 'flying' monster in that big hall where you get the 'dolche' / 'knife' ?
- good idea with the 3 switches... i like it


- I just noticed that the whole map seems to be upscaled
- All walls seems to be to high / to big
- it looks a little bit strange at some point, because all is stretched up
=> did you want it that way?

As i said before, i did not finished your map yet, but i will do it in the
next few hours, because i love the map and the sounds and the feeling
of scary moments is great. Thank you for sharing this great map.

If you mean the walls in the first level "cellars", it is because this was the first map I ever made, so I went through the whole learning process in that map witch is why the result have a bit scaled walls Smile.
I usually scale the sealings quite alot, I simply think it looks better that way...

I really liked this custom story with its great story line, nice sceneries of the experiments and the really good use of voice acting

especially in the end when the Lady approaches Hamlet and their voices are cut together to show both points of view!

However, I was stuck forever in the sewer maze part with the pipe puzzle.

After watching a Let's play on youtube I realized how easy this part was, all three pipe parts are to be found pretty near to the actual puzzle. I instead was running around forever, passing the third pipe that fell down with all the rubble from the ceiling several times without noticing it. Also since the whole level was so big I thought there would have to be done more, especially in the water part with the water monster. All in all, this part of the story became pretty frustrating for me because I kept running around not finding anything new and getting killed by the water monster while looking for new places down there. But I think this confusion is exactly what you wanted to cause with the level?Blush
