I always wondered how he managed to fit all of it in one backpack.

I always carry a padlock with me. It's so useful in every life-situation. You can do everything with it! Without any borders!

I'm a werewolf. Meow.

I agree!

Personally I carry one on a gold chain around my neck. Not only is it useful for so many things, but thanks to the chain I can also hit people over the head with it!

...As for Philip, I'm really not quite sure. I realise that it used to be on his locker on the ship, but I haven't found a use of it in-game so far and I've looked. Oh, how I have looked...

This peculiar item shows that Philip's mind and destiny is similar to a Padlock. It protects many thoughts, many memories. But once you unlock the padlock, you can never lock it again. In Philip's case, once you enter the mine you cannot truly leave it. That, I believe.

I hope you're joking, 'cause that's extremely far fetched, Just saying.. It's probably just a flaw in the game, or we just haven't discovered it's use yet.

You have no idea how hard it has been for Frictional Games to bite their lip about the Good+ ending we haven't figured out yet. They want us to do it on our own, like good parents!
