Solved: 8 Years, 1 Month ago Question  Going in circles to get this game to work

Hello,

I've gone through the tutorial on here, but I seem to be going in circles trying to get this game to run. Based on the images below, can anyone confirm that my pc should be able to run it? (I recently updated my drivers hoping it would help). I tried to get the demo to work a few months ago but didn't have great success with that either.

Any responses are much appreciated.

Thanks

Ezekiel / Michael

Thanks, but I did state that I'd followed the steps in the tutorial but still have the same problem. I was hoping someone could confirm if I should be able to run the game based on my specs.

Make sure you have this installed:

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/wi...ng=English

If it doesn't work then your card is below system requirements to run the game.

Hello. I did try installing this ATI thing, but I kept getting errors when I tried to run the game. Despite this I tried it again, following the link that you provided and although I didn't expect it to work, it totally has! Thank you so much plutomaniac. What an amazing game this is!

Also, I checked out your profile and checked out your 'Envy the dead' video mod. Nice work mate.

Thanks. It certainly does. I'm really enjoying the scenery in this game, and the atmosphere.

I've heard Call of Cthuluhu is meant to be good, so I might try that next, unless you can recommend any others simliar or as good as A:TDD. A friend has recommended Penumbra Overture, who I'm told made A:TDD.

I took a few stills whilst playing to show some friends of mine what it's like, althought there are plenty of videos on Youtube.

Screen grabs of Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Thanks again

The Penumbra series are also made by Frictional Games before Amnesia. There three parts and the first two contain the story. The third one is an expansion focused on puzzles only.
