We are aware of this issue and are fixing it. This door should not be unlocked/there. You don't need to go through it.

Reload a previous save and take the path out of the prison west wing and back to the main area instead of heading to the archives. Then go all the way back to the entrance of the dungeon to use your key.

where did you install the full conversion

for Steam you need to put it in to
Steam\SteamApps\common\amnesia the dark descent


and for non steam
Program Files\Amnesia\redist

Really loved it, the maps were done quite well, and the beginning was great.

I have it on Steam, and yeah that's where I put it. (I've installed about 6 or so FC's before this, and all but one worked! (Insomnia was a bugger to run for about 3/4 the people who tried it)

I've come to learn to not fear the living, nor the dead... But the monsters that hide in closets.

then try to make a folder whats called Tenebris Lake in the custom story folder and put erverythink in there but you need to change the lang file to extra_english and put it in to Steam\SteamApps\common\amnesia the dark descent\custom_stories\Tenebris Lake and try to start it as a custom story but then you will not have the new lantern that i made Sad xD hope that will work for more questions ask me.

after that you need to create the custom_story_settings it shall say this.

I'm stuck

After getting my second lamp, I end up on a pitch-black screen and I can't find a way out. I was told I needed to follow the sounds but how da hell do I do that? How do I know I'm on the right path and not just walking against a wall?

Help?

The sound will increase in speed/change position a few times. Just move towards where you think it is, wait a minute and listen, then move towards where you think it is again. Repeat, and eventually you'll get out of there. If things go quiet, then listen close... Wink

nomaly you hear form where the sound is coming and when you at the sound it will stop and a new one will appear.

Alright, I will try that.

Also, I iz sneaky ninja so I will just backup the original lantern and put your lantern has the one to use, then play Tenebris Lake and still have the awesome lantern! >:3
