It’s been way too long – you have been holding out since before the launch of Amnesia: Rebirth.
Now, just in time for the holiday season we are finally back with a new Frictional Games Fan Jam!
This time around we want to see what you can come up with – as in seeing your visual art based on anything Frictional Games related.
Duration
The jam will start on 29th of November and run until 19th of december.
You have until midnight on the 19th to submit your work and the winners will be checked and announced the subsequent monday.
Theme
Holiday and whatever this means to you – get creative with it! As long as we can see a clear connection to any Frictional Games IP’s then we’re all good.
Medium
This jam will focus on the visual arts – be it traditional painting, digital art, 3D rendering, clay sculpting, crafting or papier mache. The sky’s the limit!
If you create something in 3D (physical or digital) make sure to submit well lit photos where the entire creation is visible.
Submitting your work
You can submit your creation through either by posting an image and/or a link to your work in the following channels:
- On Discord – you can share the project in the #2021_holiday_jam channel.
- On Twitter and Instagram – you should tag @frictionalgames and tag the submission with #FrictionalFanJam
- If you don’t have a social media account, please send your submission to team@frictionalgames.com with the title “Frictional Holiday Jam”
All works will be showcased in the #2021_holiday_jam_showcase on our Discord.
Winners and honorable mentions will be posted on the Frictional Games Twitter and Instagram as well!
Note: You are more than welcome to partake in the jam without your work being judged if you just wish to be creative – this jam is for everyone, so just let us know.
Prizes
The jury of Frictional Games employees and the Discord moderator team will pick the winner(s) of the jam.
The winner(s) will receive A4-sized posters from SOMA or Amnesia: The Dark Descent sent to their home address.
The winners will also receive Steam-keys to a Frictional game of their choice – if you already own the full collection then this is the perfect holiday gift!
