[SOLVED] Level Editor & Water Lurkers..
So this is a very simple easy question.
I was testing my map, and I haven't added ceilings yet. (just in case) so I have this basement full of water, (hoorah) but I didn't put a water monster in there..
here's what happened:
I was chilling on the upper floor, waiting for my brother to come back so I could show my map off to him. I was in the dining hall so I was throwing plates over the walls. One ended up landing in the basment, cause I heard the water splash. Then what scared the crap out of me was that I kept hearing splashing noises coming from downstairs.
When I made the basement, I used an Area>Liquid placement for the noises, and then put the childsnake water floor entity over it. (you know, it's also available in blood too.) I'm afraid there's a water monster down there, and I'm too much of a sissy to go look. xD
Question: Is there a water monster in the childsnake water floor entity?
If so I'm gonna be mad.. Big Grin
Or maybe it just glitched.. you tell me?

It probably is a glitch. After all, the creepy fountain is originally from the Back Hall zone, which is the peaceful hub in Amnesia.

Oh this made me chuckle.

There's no lurker in the water. I imagine your plate or something landed in a funny spot down in the water.

Thankyou everyone, I can now continue map editing and testing without fear of being spontaneously attacked by a water lurker. xD
But seriously, that was scary. D:

Some entities are weird and have odd buoyancy properties that cause them to repeatedly bounce high out of the water and fall back in, then bounce out again, almost indefinitely. Try dropping a wine bottle sideways in the acid barrel in the main game, you'll see what I mean.
