During the first few weeks of this year we started seeing an influx of reports surrounding a new specific type of bug. It seemed text, crosshair, interaction icons and menu art started disappearing a bit randomly, while people were playing the game. We now feel confident that the problem has been solved.
Amnesia: Rebirth updated to 1.2 – Custom Stories
In this patch we believe we’ve finally managed to identify and fix the most serious bug we’ve had left to fix – the one where some players have gotten stuck on black screen immediately after the intro.
With version 1.2 on PC we also bring you Custom Stories and modding tools!
Amnesia: Rebirth updated to 1.1
Patch 1.1 for Amnesia: Rebirth is out now on all PC platforms. If testing goes smoothly, it will be out sometime tomorrow on PS4 as well.
This patch is mostly about bug fixes, both some linux focus, some blockers and other minor issues. The most notable change for most players will be the ability to skip memories by holding the interact button (left mouse button or right trigger if on a gamepad).

We have just released a new patch for Amnesia: Rebirth, containing a few improvements worth pointing out.
The change that will most likely have the biggest effect on the experience is the “toning down” of the “fear flashes”.
