We have just released a new patch for Amnesia: Rebirth, containing a few improvements worth pointing out.

Modding has been a huge part of Amnesia. For instance, over the years The Dark Descent has accumulated over a thousand mods and addons on ModDB. This flood of user content has been amazing to see and we are extremely grateful for the whole community surrounding it all.
It is time we gave something back!
After five years of work we are finally able to announce that Amnesia: Rebirth will be released on 20th October 2020!

And so the seasons have come a full circle, and with them this round of Frictional Fan Jams. All entries were wonderful and thrilling, but these ones were our favourites.
We have one more Frictional Fan Jam to hold to complete the seasons! We have done modding, and visual arts, but now it’s time for our writers to shine.
Over the last few weeks of spring we held another Frictional Fan Jam, the theme of the season being Spring and/or Rebirth. It yielded amazing works, but here are the winners we chose!
We are looking for an engine programmer. In this position you will have a major part in forming the engine used by our current and upcoming projects. You will also work closely with other members of the tech team and help artists, scripters and designers do their job more efficiently.
Spring is the time of rebirth, the nature waking up from hibernation – even if we are all stuck inside and can’t experience it. Well, what better way to spend the quarantine than participate in another Frictional Fan Jam?
This time we are focusing on visual arts, so get your pens, cameras and needles ready!
We’ve seen some comments popping up as a result of our recently advertised position for a Studio Manager. Comments like: “That is a lot of stuff to put on one person…”. Because of this, we felt the urge to address some of the worries and concerns raised in those comments.
Do you want a job where you get to help shape the future of a game studio and have a wide range of tasks that require a bucketload of creativity and entrepreneurial skills? If so, Studio Manager at Frictional Games is the job for you!
